How does the CV analysis work?
You upload your CV as a PDF or Word file. The AI structures it automatically, flags what is missing and shows you where to fix it — the result appears in under a minute.
Do I need an account to analyse my CV?
No. You can run an analysis without an account, up to 6 analyses per hour. An account is needed to save your CV, export it as a PDF or Word file, and use the advanced features (tailoring to a job offer, cover letter, interview questions).
Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan includes up to 3 saved CVs, 2 CV imports and 20 AI actions in total (rephrase, quantify, tailor to an offer…), and 1 active share link (valid for 30 days). A Pro plan exists, but is not yet open for purchase.
Is OpusCV available in English?
Yes. The interface is available in English, French, German and Spanish. Your CV has its own language and page format (A4 or Letter), chosen when you create it, and can be converted into another language as a separate version.
Does the AI make things up on my CV?
No. Rephrasing and quantified results only rely on facts you have provided yourself. No skill and no figure is added without your explicit approval before it replaces anything in your CV.
How are the “points to fix” worked out?
By free, predictable rules, not by an overall score computed by the AI. Each rule can be explained in one sentence and points to the exact field to fix.
Can I export my CV as a PDF and a Word file?
Yes. The PDF downloads with a free account; Word export is part of the Pro plan. Both keep the layout and theme you chose. The cover letter can also be downloaded as a PDF, in your CV's colours.
Can I tailor my CV to a specific job offer?
Yes. This feature creates a version of your CV tailored to the target offer, and can generate a cover letter and interview questions from that same offer.
How do I share my CV with a recruiter?
You can create a public share link, with an expiry date, the option to revoke it at any time, and a count of how many times it has been viewed.
Can I delete my account and my data?
Yes, you can delete your account at any time from your account space.
