Terms of Service and Sale

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This is a translation of the French version, which prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Purpose and publisher

These terms govern the use of the OpusCV service, available at app.opuscv.tech (the “Service”), and the purchase of Pro offers. The Service is published by Sofia ZINE-EDDINE, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI), trading as OPUSOF, registered with the Évry Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 130 357 825. Contact: contact@opuscv.fr.

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), our payment provider. OpusCV is the seller: we invoice you directly (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code) and handle refund requests, in accordance with these terms. Stripe collects the payment under its own terms.

2. The Service

OpusCV analyses a CV (PDF or Word), structures it, points out what can be improved, lays it out and tailors it to job offers. The Service can be used for free; an account is required to save and export CVs.

3. User account

4. Offers and prices

For its duration, Pro gives access to unlimited CVs, AI actions, imports and share links, share links that never expire, PDF export without watermark and Word export. Prices shown at checkout are in euros, VAT not applicable (art. 293 B of the French Tax Code).

5. Immediate access and right of withdrawal

Pro is a digital service supplied immediately after payment. Before paying, you expressly request this immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as you first use a Pro feature. This request is recorded and timestamped.

6. Refunds

A refund ends the corresponding Pro access; for a subscription, it also cancels it. Refunds are paid to the payment method used for the purchase.

7. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from the “My account” menu in the app. Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid, with no further charge. The current period is not refunded pro rata.

8. Technical incidents

If a malfunction of the service prevents you from using a Pro feature, report it to contact@opuscv.fr during the paid period, describing the problem. We will fix it as quickly as possible.

If the incident is confirmed on our side and deprived you of Pro for more than 48 hours, your Pro period is extended by the same length of time. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, the period concerned is refunded pro rata to the time the service was unavailable.

9. How to ask

Write to contact@opuscv.fr from your account's email address, stating the date of purchase. We reply within 5 working days.

10. Payment disputes

An accepted bank dispute (chargeback) ends the corresponding Pro access, in the same way as a refund.

11. Acceptable use

You may not:

12. Intellectual property

The OpusCV source code, design and brand are protected. The content of your CVs belongs entirely to you: we claim no rights over your data.

13. Liability

OpusCV is a writing aid. AI suggestions are indicative and do not constitute professional advice. You remain solely responsible for the final content of your CV.

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee 100% availability, in particular during maintenance, technical incidents or outages at our hosting provider. Unavailability during a paid Pro period is handled under “Technical incidents”.

14. Personal data

How personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

15. Suspension and changes

We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms, after notice except in urgent cases. We may change these terms; users are informed by email of any substantial change. The terms applicable to a purchase are those in force on its date.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of residence that offer greater protection. In the event of a dispute, please first send a written complaint to contact@opuscv.fr. Failing agreement, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge or bring the matter before the competent courts.
